THE RAPTURE AT
“BEHOLD, I TELL YOU A MYSTERY:
WE SHALL NOT ALL SLEEP, BUT WE SHALL ALL BE CHANGED –
IN A MOMENT, IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE,
AT THE LAST TRUMPET.
FOR THE TRUMPET WILL SOUND,
AND THE DEAD WILL BE RAISED INCORRUPTIBLE, AND WE SHALL BE CHANGED.” 1Cor. 15:51-53
God invested the greatest revelation of the rapture to the apostle Paul. He wrote three epistles in which
much truth centers upon unfolding the events that lead up to the pre-tribulation, pre-wrath rapture of the
faithful saints. Those three in-depth references are stated in the diagram below. I suggest you take the time
to read carefully through them in your Bible, for I am unable to display them for you in this newsletter due to
the lengthiness of those passages. Also in the diagram below, I have briefly stated a synopsis of the
modern-day widespread confusion and error surrounding what Paul wrote. We considered the first of these
errors in our Sept/Oct. newsletters. Due to a proper lack of emphasis such as Paul placed on “the dead rise
first,” the popular theme of “no man knows the day or the hour” replaced the fact that the rapture cannot take
place until the appointed time of the resurrection of the dead. Five times it is stated that this event takes
place “at the last day” (Jn. 6:39-54, 11:24). You cannot have a rapture prior to the prophesied dispensation in
which the resurrection of the dead takes place. Jesus cannot come “at any moment, at any time.”
