The underlying theme, the chronological, prophetic order of the contents of the New Testament that has
its origins in the ancient Levitical law of the Old Testament is taken from the seven feasts given to
Israel by God through Moses.

It is an inescapable conclusion that the chronological order in which the New Testament is written is the
same chorological order in which the seven feasts of Leviticus 23 were given. The message contained
within the four gospels centers upon the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul calls these three events “The Gospel” (1 Cor. 15:1-4).
Nor is it mere coincidence that the fourth feast of Leviticus 23 is “Pentecost” (“Feast of Weeks”).
Acts 2 is very careful to tell us that the Holy Spirit was given to the church, “when the day of Pentecost had
fully come” (Acts 2:1). In the New Testament, the Book of Acts follows the message of the four gospels.
