LESSON TWELVE:

“SANCTIFICATION-PUTTING OFF AND PUTTING ON”

Throughout Paul’s epistles he contrasts the believer’s
call to “put off” and to “put on.” Likewise in his epistle
to the Romans we this call in Romans 13 depicted
below.

We are to “put off the works of darkness” and replace

them by “putting on the armor of light.” This is the

dual process of sanctification at work. We must

initially “put off” the old before we can “put on” the

new.

LET US THEREFORE AND LET US

CAST OFF PUT ON
THE WORKS OF DARKNESS
                                   THE ARMOR OF LIGHT

                       Rom. 13:12
