Look at the overall depiction of the book of Romans
below. We have three different perspectives of
Jesus presented by Paul in sixteen chapters. Note
the greatest emphasis of Paul’s writings center upon
the present priority of the believer’s sanctification.
Certainly we need to hold all three perspectives, but
it is the emphasis of Paul on the sanctification of the
believer that prepares him/her for glorification in
eternity. Justification will get you there, but
sanctification will reward you.
