LESSON FOURTEEN:

             “YIELDING UNTO SANCTIFIED POWER”

Paul often used the illustration of a race to depict the
Christian life (see 1 Cor. 9:24-27, Heb. 12:1:2).

In Romans Chapter 8 we find this race defined. We
begin as “heirs of God” via the new birth, then we
follow a life-long path of “being conformed into the
image of Christ”, in order that, in eternity, we may
inherit the Bride of Christ as “joint-heirs with Christ.”

                  CHAPTER 8

HEIRS OF GOD, “ALL THINGS JOINT HEIRS
                  WORK TOGETHER WITH CHRIST…
CHILDREN OF GOD… FOR GOOD
                  TO THOSE
                  WHO LOVE GOD,
                  TO THOSE
                  WHO ARE THE CALLED
               ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.
                  FOR WHOM HE FOREKNEW,
                  HE ALSO PREDESTINED
                  TO BE CONFORMED
TO THE IMAGE OF HIS SON,
THAT HE MIGHT BE THE FIRSTBORN
                  AMONG MANY BRETHREN.”

                  Rom. 8:28-29

               BEING CONFORMED INTO
                THE IMAGE OF CHRIST…
