LESSON # 14:

“BAPTISM IN WATER”

No doctrine has suffered more from the power of
tradition than water baptism. Meant to be the
power of God to “put off” the old man and put on
the new” it has become the salvation of infants,
Total immersion in water has been replaced with
sprinkling. Paul boldly proclaimed, “As many as
have been baptized, have put on Christ” (Gal. 3:27).
Is this sprinkling ceremony how we “put on
Christ?” Not according to God’s Word!
