LESSON #11:

“BELIEVER’S DEATH AND RESURRECTION”

“Death” is not the end of life for the Christian any
more than it was for Jesus Christ. Resurrection
follows death. It was so for the Christ and it is
promised to be so for the Christian.
Life begins after death. This is the promise of the
One who said: “I am the resurrection and the life.”
Death is the last enemy that Christ will deal with and
He does so through the resurrection of Himself and
the promised resurrection of every follower of Christ.
Death has no power over a follower of Christ. Yes,
he/she will die physically. However, true life waits on
the other side. Paul said:

“IF IN THIS LIFE ONLY WE HAVE HOPE IN CHRIST,
WE ARE OF ALL MEN THE MOST PITIABLE.

BUT NOW CHRIST IS RISEN FROM THE DEAD,
AND HAS BECOME THE FIRSTFRUITS OF THOSE

WHO HAVE FALLEN ASLEEP…”
1 Cor 15:19-22
